This Privacy Policy informs users of our diving app (“Scubadi”) about the type, extent, and purpose of the collection and use of their data by the responsible provider Vivo Libera GmbH, Bielstrasse 27, 4500 Solothurn, Switzerland.

2. Types of Collected Data

The app does not collect personal data for transmission purposes. All inputs, including location data for diving sites, images, videos, documents, and other content, are stored only locally on your device and are not transferred or shared with third parties.

3. Data Collection and Use

3.1 User Entry

Data is collected directly by the user within the app and stored only locally on the device. It is not transmitted to us or third parties.

3.2 App Store Downloads:

We do not collect data about downloads. However, they are collected by the respective app store providers, Google Play (for Android) and Apple App Store (for iOS).

3.3 Share Function

Users can share information from the app using the operating system’s sharing function. We have no control over how this data is further processed after sharing.

4. Data Transfer

The app does not transfer or share data with third parties. All data is stored locally on your mobile device only.

5. Data Storage

All entered data, including images, videos, and documents, are stored exclusively on your mobile phone. If you delete the app, all data will be irrevocably lost. Users are responsible for regularly backing up their data. Note that any data processing by a backup solution is outside of our responsibility, and we have no control over it.

6. Access Rights and Deletion

Users have the option to change or delete their data at any time via the app. Deleting the app results in the irrevocable loss of all stored data.

7. Third-party Services

7.1 Maps

Our app uses map services to display diving sites. On iOS devices, we use Apple Maps, and on Android devices, Google Maps. Please refer to the privacy policies of Apple and Google for information on their data use.

9. Consent

Specific consent is not obtained as the privacy policy can be viewed in the app store before downloading.

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy. The policy can be viewed via the app or the respective app store. Changes will be communicated in the release notes.
